Security Badging Process

All badging is done by appointment only.

Please bring BOTH forms of identity uploaded with Badge Application to your appointment.

SIDA & Sterile Area Badge Process

All persons requesting an Airport Security Identification badge need to contact the Airport Administration Office, 479-452-7000 ext. 50.  The applicant will then be sent an email to complete a badge application through AirBadge online portal.

When a fingerprint based, criminal history records check (CHRC) is required, the applicant must complete a fingerprint application. The applicant’s company must coordinate with the Airport to have fingerprinting conducted. The Airport is required to submit applicant data to the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in order to complete a Security Threat Assessment (STA). Two forms of government issued ID, one of which must have a photo, must be uploaded with the application and must also be presented to airport personnel at the fingerprint appointment.  Please reference the Identity and Employment Verification Chart to ensure proper ID is presented.

The CHRC and STA background check process will typically take 3-7 days. The AirBadge online system will notify the employer or the applicant by email once the background check results have been received.

Federal regulations require that persons who receive an Airport Security Identification badge complete the Airport Security Training presentation. Training is conducted on an appointment only basis and is conducted in the Airport Administration Offices. The applicant must bring both forms of ID uploaded with the badge application to the training appointment to verify their legitimacy to take the training.  The applicant must check-in at the Airport Administration front desk at least five (5) minutes prior to their scheduled appointment time. Once the training has been completed the applicant will be provided his/her Airport Security Identification badge.
